Ordinance to amend the Code of Ordinances Section 2-3 Boards, Committees, Commissions to create the Community Wellness Committee
A public comment period will not be included with this item as a public hearing was held at an earlier date.
ACTION: Council action is anticipated.
Description
The Appointments Committee has been working on defining what wellness means in Falmouth. The committee has met with several members of the community to determine what is available and what may be lacking in Falmouth wellness. It was determined by the committee that it may be beneficial to for a new committee to be formed to inform and promote wellness for everyone of all ages.
An introduction letter and the proposed amendment language are attached.
