A resolution to support the efforts of the Maine Bicentennial Commission.

ACTION: Council action is anticipated.
Description
The State of Maine Bicentennial Celebration kicked off on July 30, 2019 and will continue thru October 2020. The Maine Bicentennial Commission is encouraging communities Statewide to create programming that, 1) Commemorates Maine's history, culture, or natural environment, 2) Engages and inspires youth and young adults, and 3) Creates a legacy for the future. Erin Cadigan, Education and Outreach Coordinator, presented proposed Falmouth programs, activities, and events at the October 16, 2019 Council Meeting. As recommended, the Council will consider a resolution to support the efforts of the Maine Bicentennial Commission.
