Description
One of the Council Work Plan items delegated to the CDC this year was to “review and possibly amend standards for kennels”. The CDC has reviewed this matter and is recommending some ordinance amendments which are further explained in the attached summary memo from the CDC to the Council. These conceptual amendments would amend the ordinance definition of “kennel” and expand the number of zoning districts in which kennels are allowed.
The purpose of this concept discussion is to present the CDC’s recommendations to the Council and to obtain feedback from the Council prior to drafting any formal ordinance amendments for introduction.
