Description
The Council approved an order on November 25, 2019 to accept a donation of real estate known as R09-55A from Sandra Taylor and Claire Langlois, heirs to Arthur McDermott. This one acre parcel is adjacent to the Suckfish Brook Conservation Area and abuts the City of Westbrook section of the conservation area. Legal review of the conservatorship that holds the parcel does not permit the donation of the land. Staff are recommending that the Council consider the purchase of the property for a sum of $600.00 (six hundred dollars). The assessed value is $600.
