The Falmouth Emergency Management Team held a virtual meeting today and has the following announcements for Falmouth residents.

We have extended the closure of, or limited access to, Falmouth Town buildings and facilities until further notice. For an updated list of closures visit the Town of Falmouth Facility Closures, Cancellations, and Status of Services page of our website. This listing is updated regularly.

The Falmouth Town Council will conduct its first virtual meeting using emergency legislation, Sec. G-1 MRSA §403-A, that allows cities and towns to conduct meetings online. The Town will use “Zoom” to conduct this meeting. This application will allow attendees to connect via computer or phone. A meeting link and instructions will be provided on Monday, March 23, via the Town website homepage, e-Alerts, and social media that will allow you to join the meeting via computer or phone, as well as, a phone number to dial in. If you have questions, please call (207) 699-5329. Follow this Link to See the Agenda

Falmouth Public Schools announced today that they will be closed until April 27. Updates from the schools can be found at: www.falmouthschools.org.

We have modified our operations and are conducting all business transactions remotely and electronically. We will continue to assess how services are offered going forward. For an update regarding online and remote services, click here.

We are pleased to report that two EMS personnel have been cleared from quarantine, are healthy, and returning to work as of tomorrow.

The Falmouth Food Pantry is closed until further notice and will cease deliveries next week for two weeks. Town staff and Food Pantry leadership will meet next week to discuss how best to distribute food to those in need while also limiting exposure risk to clients, volunteers, and staff. If you are a Falmouth resident and you have no food and no way to access food, please contact our General Assistance emergency number at 807-2055.

As noted in all our updates, this is a rapidly evolving situation. The Falmouth Emergency Management Team is closely monitoring the situation. We will continue to provide regular updates to the community through E-Alerts, social media, and our Emergency Management webpage.
