Summary
Resolution authorizing Town staff to seek members for an informal bicycle-pedestrian stakeholder group and commence implementation of the 2016 Falmouth Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan through the recommended actions for 2016-2018.

Description
BACKGROUND - On May 23, 2016, the Town Council approved a resolution regarding the 2016 Falmouth Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan. At that time the Town Council requested that Town staff prepare and submit a draft Bicycle-Pedestrian Work Plan for Council review that recommends the highest priority actions of the plan for implementation in 2016-2018.
CURRENT WORK - Staff has since selected a number of actions to be started in 2016-2018 from the plan's list of 47 recommended actions and has suggested a process for establishing an informal bicycle-pedestrian stakeholder group. The Council is asked to authorize staff to seek members for the stakeholder group and commence work on the recommended actions for 2016-2018.
