Summary

Public hearing on a conditional rezoning for the construction of a Tier III Personal Wireless Facility on Falmouth Road, Map-Lot R04-022.

ACTION: Council action is not anticipated.

Description

Verizon Wireless has submitted an application under Sections 19-17 and 8-351 of the Code of Ordinances to request a conditional rezoning for the placement of a personal wireless service facility on Lot R04-022 on Falmouth Road. Since that time, they have received preliminary review at the Planning Board, a peer review of the radio frequency study, and had a formal introduction at the Council on September 11. The next step outlined by the ordinance is a public hearing. Since the ordinance requires that any conditions and restrictions to be considered by the Council be sent along with the abutter notices prior to the hearing, and since no conditions or restrictions have so far been developed, tonight's hearing will only suffice to meet the requirements of the ordinance hearing if there are no conditions and/or restrictions placed on the approval.
