Description
The Town of Falmouth is due for a charter review in 2018. Charter Commission membership consists of nine members – six elected and three appointed. Article II, Sec. 219 of the Town of Falmouth Charter states, “At least once every 10 years, the Town Council shall, on its own motion and without requiring a petition, create a Charter Review Commission in the manner prescribed by the Home Rule statute, 30-A M.R.S.A. Section 2102 et seq.” Attachments include a memo with a suggested timeline, the current charter, and the Charter Commission Report from 2008.
