Summary
Order to execute a notice of intent to acquire property rights relating to the Underwood Road Drainage Project and an order to accept a utility easement in the extension of Underwood Road (paper street).
A public comment period will be included (3 minutes per person).
ACTION: Council action is anticipated.
Description
This action is needed in order to secure property rights for the Underwood Road Drainage Project.
One acquisition is for a permanent drainage easement using the eminent domain process. The other acquisition involves exercising the Town’s rights within an existing paper street.
The orders are attached, along with the notice of intent for the eminent domain process, associated exhibit, and a brief presentation providing background information on the project.
