Description

At tonight's meeting, the Town Council is introducing five amendments to the Code of Ordinances relative to growth and density in Town. Of those five, Options A-D pertain to the same ordinance provisions so only one of these options could ultimately be adopted. Option E, which pertains to the RB and RD districts, could be adopted alone or in conjunction with one of the other options.

OPTION D

These proposed amendments to Residential A (RA) zoning district modify the dimensional requirements for this district, increasing minimum lot size, lot width, maximum residential density, setback, and minimum net residential area per dwelling unit per lot requirements.

These amendments are the same dimensional standards that were in place prior to the July 11, 2016 zoning amendments (Option B) with the addition of a retroactivity clause that specifies the effective date of these amendments.
