Summary
Order to authorize the Town Manager to execute agreements with the Maine Department of Transportation to release property rights in order to facilitate the rehabilitation and construction of the Lambert Street Bridge on Blackstrap Road.
A public comment period will be included with this item (3 minutes).

Description
As part of the rehabilitation project for the Lambert Street Bridge off Blackstrap Road, the Maine Department of Transportation (MDOT) has identified areas where additional rights are needed. These areas fall outside the existing road rights-of-way and are necessary to facilitate the bridge construction and rehabilitation. MDOT has identified .03 acres to be taken in fee (river property), .08 acres as prescriptive easement and will be utilizing .11 acres of land known as Blackstrap Canoe Launch parking area using temporary construction rights owned by the Town of Falmouth for which these rights are being requested.
