Summary
Resolution to accept the 2018 Falmouth Open Space Plan: Honoring Our Legacy, Now and for Our Future report from the Long Range Planning Advisory Committee.
A public comment period will be included with this item (3 minutes per person).
ACTION: Council action is anticipated.
Description
On October 24, 2016, the Council approved a resolution outlining the need for an updated open space plan and assigning this task to LPAC as the lead party with input from other committee and community members. LPAC was expanded to LPAC+ for purposes of this assignment with members from the Land Management and Acquisitions Committee, Conservation Commission, Falmouth Land Trust, and the Open Space Manager.
LPAC+ is pleased to report that it has completed its recommendations for the 2018 Falmouth Open Space Plan: Honoring Our Legacy, Now and for Our Future.
The result is a 36-page plan that contains an introductory letter from chairman Sam Rudman, a 1-page Executive Summary, and an additional 36 pages worth of appendices. In addition, a 4-page summary action chart for easy reference has been prepared.
