Description
Background:
The Council passed Resolution 130-2019 on May 29, 2019. Expanding our communication system is a key component of the Resolution.
In July 2019, the Town of Falmouth mailed a survey to residents regarding communications methods and the best means of imparting information to and receiving feedback from the community. 345 responses have been received and the survey results can be viewed here.
The Council designated the creation of a strategic communications plan a top priority on the 2019-2020 work plan. At the October 16, 2020 Council meeting, Erin Cadigan, Education and Outreach Coordinator, delivered an update on the development of a plan and a report on new communication tools and efforts. She also reviewed the communication survey results. At the February 10, 2020 Council meeting, Ms. Cadigan delivered a presentation on the proposed Communications Strategic Plan (attached).
Current Status:
At this meeting, Ms. Cadigan will deliver a second presentation (attached) and the public is invited to provide feedback and ask questions regarding the proposed Communications Strategic Plan.
