Public hearing and order relative to renewal of permanent food service establishment licenses for: Dockside Provisions (215 Foreside Road), Ricetta's Brick Oven Ristorante (240 U.S. Route 1), Walmart (206 US Route 1), The Woodlands Restaurant, and The Woodlands Snack Shack (10 Woodlands Drive).

A public comment period will be included.

Item 6

Order to change the date of 2020/2021 Council meetings impacted by holidays.

Item 7

Re-enactment of Ordinance No.128-2020, an emergency ordinance to temporarily suspend certain provisions of the Falmouth Code of Ordinances relating to outdoor eating areas and outdoor retail display to assist businesses suffering economic loss due to COVID-19 in a manner consistent with the Governor’s re-opening plan

A public hearing is not required under the Town Charter for the adoption of an emergency ordinance. The Council accepted public comment on this item when this item was discussed at the Council’s May 27 meeting. Public comment is expected to be allowed at this meeting.

ACTION: Council action is anticipated.
Item 8

Order to go into Executive Session pursuant to the Laws of Maine to discuss the following:

  • real estate rights, pursuant to 1 M.R.S.A. § 405 (6) (C);
  • legal rights and responsibilities, pursuant to 1 M.R.S.A. § 405 (6) (E).

2020.07.20 Town Council Virtual Meeting

On Monday, July 20, 2020, at 7:00 pm, the Falmouth Town Council will conduct a virtual meeting using emergency legislation, Sec. G-1 MRSA §403-A, that allows cities and towns to conduct meetings online. 

The Town will use “Zoom” to conduct this meeting. The link to join the meeting via computer and phone instructions are below. In order to participate in the “public comment” portion of the meeting, please make sure your Zoom application is up to date. Otherwise, you will need to call into the meeting to participate.
